    Position Overview: Spa Manager

    Location: Charleston, South Carolina

    As the Spa Manager, your role is multifaceted, encompassing leadership, operational management, revenue growth strategies, staff development, inventory management, performance monitoring, client relationship management, marketing collaboration, compliance, and industry awareness. Leading a diverse team, you will foster a positive work culture while ensuring seamless service delivery and maximizing revenue opportunities through effective strategies such as retail sales and upselling. Your focus on staff training and development will elevate performance standards, while meticulous inventory management will optimize stock levels and minimize waste. Monitoring key performance indicators and cultivating strong client relationships will be pivotal in maintaining exceptional standards of service, complemented by collaboration with the marketing team to drive spa traffic and revenue. Upholding compliance with regulations and industry best practices, as well as staying abreast of industry trends and innovations, will ensure the spa remains competitive and continually enhances the guest experience.

    Responsibilities:

    - Adhere to facility and company policies, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

    - Hold an active esthetics or massage license and perform services as required.

    - Act as the primary liaison for spa opening procedures, overseeing completion and communication with relevant parties.

    - Provide outstanding customer service, actively soliciting and utilizing guest feedback for continuous improvement.

    - Recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to all policies and standards. Monitor certifications, payroll, and attendance.

    - Develop therapist schedules to ensure optimal coverage within budget constraints.

    - Demonstrate expertise in Valmont, Eminence Organics, and Farmhouse Fresh products and services.

    - Proficient in spa booking software, including Book4Time.

    - Train staff in providing Five-Star service, emphasizing warmth, anticipation, and luxury etiquette.

    - Facilitate departmental meetings, fostering strong communication and teamwork.

    - Ensure accurate portrayal of the guest experience, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety.

    - Conduct regular inventories and prepare revenue reports.

    - Monitor professional product inventories, linen usage, and service protocols.

    - Implement effective inventory and purchasing procedures.

    - Support promotional activities and membership sales as directed by leadership.

    - Maintain equipment, sanitation procedures, and checklists through routine inspections.

    - Ensure appropriate facility supervisory coverage through the Manager on Duty (MOD) system.

    Qualifications:

    - Proven leadership experience in the spa or wellness industry.

    - Active license in Massage Therapy or Esthetics preferred.

    - Bachelor's degree in Business Leadership, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.

    - Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

    - Track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

    - Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and spa management software preferred.

    - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
