Spa Manager 

Sailaway Spa, our new spa within The Admiral's Inn, is looking for a dynamic, kind, creative, and organized individual with a passion for wellness to lead our spa team. Our ideal candidate is also a Licensed Massage Therapist who takes massage shifts, covers when needed and trains our LMT team.

About the Role 

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for upholding our company values and supporting positive workplace culture. This position is guest-facing. 

Ideal Candidates  

• Have experience in a spa setting with a passion for wellness. 

• Are friendly and motivated.  

• Are excellent communicators.  

• Love connecting with people. 

• Have both spa and hourly scheduling experience. 

• Licensed Massage Therapist (preferred but not mandatory) 

Responsibilities 

• Maintain a full spa schedule and drive sales, promotions, and retail sales. 

• Oversee the daily operations of the spa. 

• Train and oversee Wellness Coordinators and LMTs. 

• Build, support, and maintain a strong, positive workplace culture. 

• Review feedback and respond to guest reviews. 

• Respond to all incoming guest-related communications. 

• Maintain a clean and safe spa environment and retail area. 

• Complete daily reports and balance sheets. 

• Hold daily team pre-shift meetings. 

• Prepare and lead team member reviews.  

• Monthly Inventory System 

Qualifications 

• 3 years in spa setting 

• 2 years in managerial or supervisor role 

• Experience in the wellness/spa industry.  

• Experience leading a team. 

• Experience with scheduling for multiple providers. 

• Proficient knowledge of relevant software systems and processes. 

• Strong problem-solving skills 

• Strong organizational skills. 

• Ability to calmly multi-task. 

• Experience in hotel or wellness is preferred

This is a great opportunity to join a small and growing company. This role reports directly to the General Manager. This is a full-time position located in Ogunquit, Maine.  

While this job is based in Ogunquit, Maine, from time to time, you will be expected to travel to venues and events outside of the area, as the business demands.
