Spa Manager Assistant - Casino assists the manager with spa and recreation activities. Manages the spa and recreation staff and support personnel. Being a Spa Manager Assistant - Casino coordinates classes, programs, and day-to-day operations of a spa and recreational facility. Creates and implements general and therapeutic spa and recreational activities for all age groups. Additionally, Spa Manager Assistant - Casino develops and maintains relationships with members and guests. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Spa Manager Assistant - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. SUMMARYAdminister professional massage, bath rituals, and body treatments to guests. Utilizes knowledge of and provides services covering numerous massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, hot stone, relaxation, and prenatal.ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
- Receive guests on time for their service in a courteous, professional, and polite manner.
- Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Properly open and close each shift according to Standard Operating Procedures and Spa protocols.
- Properly care for equipment, using proper sanitation, and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
- Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility features, and hours of operation.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
- Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available in the Spa or on property.
- Responds promptly to guest requests, complaints or inquiries professionally, courteously, and promptly reporting to a supervisor if needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
- Assist in all areas of the spa operation, including locker room and fitness center as needed, as requested by management.
