Being a Solderer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Solderer performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Compensation: $17-24/hour DOE
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (730-4pm)
Job Details:- Perform hardware rework on printed circuit boards
- Assembly using a variety of documents including reword instructions, engineering drawings, schematics
- Microcircuit assembly by manually aligning parts
- Repair and overhaul older devices and replace defective components
- Verify correct part placement and perform inspection using microscope
Applicant Requirements:- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1-2 years previous experience SMT Soldering
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
- Ability to identify components used in assembly and soldering process
- IPC J-STD-001 Certified a plus, but not required
