To continue to meet our customer’s mission critical needs, PDC is seeking a Solderer Touch Up A.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a department of state or commercial license.

The compensation for this role is $22-$24 hourly.

The primary functions of this position is to perform the procedures needed to produce a quality product utilizing soldering techniques that were acquired when becoming a J-STD certified operator.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

• Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
• Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres to the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
• Performs self-inspections ensuring product meets the drawing and Class 3 IPC-610 criteria.
• Understands and utilizes Repair Plus to review AOI results.
• Act as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Reads Standard Operating Procedures and suggest improvements.
• Cross training to other CCA job functions required.
• IPC 610 and/or J-STD training.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Follows the 5S policies.

Educational / Experience Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years relevant work experience required.
• Any combination of education, training and experience listed above that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred

Supervisory Responsibility:

• Individual Contributor.

Work Environment:

• Connection to static grounding units/devices.
• Factory or open workspace.
• Lab coats required.
• ESD controls and precautions taken, using wrist or heel straps.
