Being a Soil Scientist may require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. May direct the work of a small group of employees. 12. Maintains a database of ongoing research studies and evidence-based practice projects (pertaining to nursing practice) that are based on committee data or other sources of clinical nursing data and information.
13. Coordinates Nursing Research / Evidence-Based Practice Program, providing guidance to departmental research utilization teams, consultation with presentations and publications, and assistance with data interpretation and analysis.
14. Participates in the ANCC Transition to Practice program including program planning, implementation, and evaluation, including interim reports, redesignation reports, consultation visits, and redesignation site visit.
15. Participates in various activities to assist the Manager in the dissemination of necessary information to staff, physicians, and others related to professional nursing practice, nursing research, and evidenced based practice.
16. Fosters a culture of inquiry to bridge the gap between research and practice by engaging nurses in research and EBP.
17. Promotes, supports, and facilitates individuals engaging in research activities to advance research in practice: evidence-based practice, the conduct of research, research utilization, and research dissemination.
18. Institute structures and expectations to support dissemination of nursing research and evidence-based practice projects locally, regionally, and nationally.
