Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Lab

Under the direction of the Laboratory Medical Director and the Laboratory Department Director", the Medical Technologist Lead aids in the establishment of laboratory goals and objectives, supervises all aspects of the laboratory in regard to guest relations, human resource management, and quality assurance.

Shift Details: Full-time, Variable, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology

• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification

• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or

• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or

• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or

• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or

• Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or

• Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government

• Five years: Clinical Laboratory Testing experience.

• One year: Experience in a high complexity lab.

• Expertise in a subspecialty is of leadership (e.g., microbiology, point-of-care," etc...)
