Soil Conservationist develops and implements policies and procedures for soil erosion control, moisture conservation, and sound land use. Conducts and participates in environmental studies. Being a Soil Conservationist applies a wide range concepts, practices, and procedures from two or more specialized fields of science, such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, or agriculture. May require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. Additionally, Soil Conservationist may direct the work of a small group of employees. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Attention all hearing conservationists, we are calling on you to help us provide services to our Military Service members.  CAOHC is required.

    We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays on an "as needed basis".  

    We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

    • U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
    • Army National Guard (ARNG)
    • U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
    • U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
    • U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
    • Air National Guard (ANG)
    • U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

    Responsibilities

    • Perform manual audiograms and evaluations.
    • Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.

    Qualifications

    • Current certification as a hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist
    • Experience within the last two years working as a Audiology Technician
    • Experience working with military - preferred
    • CAOHC is required
    • Experience working with DOEHRS and BENSON software - preferred
    • CPR/BLS certification is preferred
    • Proficient with computer programs
