Soil Conservationist develops and implements policies and procedures for soil erosion control, moisture conservation, and sound land use. Conducts and participates in environmental studies. Being a Soil Conservationist applies a wide range concepts, practices, and procedures from two or more specialized fields of science, such as agronomy, soil science, forestry, or agriculture. May require a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. Additionally, Soil Conservationist may direct the work of a small group of employees. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Position Summary:
The Soil Production employee performs tasks involved in receiving and preparation of soiled healthcare linens for the laundering process. The Soil Production employee follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The employee in this role must exhibit accountability and flexibility in a fast paced, goal oriented, strenuous production environment. Physical requirements include repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift including; repeated bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, pushing/pulling and lifting as well as excessive standing. Work days are typically 5 day workweeks, Monday through Saturday. Work hours may be adjusted due to workloads. The hours are Monday-Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
