Seeking a personable candidate that possesses advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as basic computer troubleshooting skills to provide ongoing software training and assistance at legal firm. 

Experience/Background:

• Ideal candidate would have secretarial or paralegal experience in an office setting
• Must have advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with the ability to create templates, utilize styles, and assist with troubleshooting documents
• Knowledge of Access a plus
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of iManage, eDiscovery software, and Word Perfect is a plus
• Must possess reliable transportation and have clean driving record
• Must be able to regularly work onsite in Baton Rouge M-F, 8:30 – 5:00 and overtime as needed

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new hire, individual, and group software training of personnel in use of all Firm’s systems and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, iManage, PowerPDF, and others)
• Assist with end user setup, Desktop Support, and serve as Software Trainer to the Firm
• Enthusiastic about working collaboratively; excellent communication and presentation skills, pleasant demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Assist with end user setup, Desktop Support, and serve as Software Trainer to the Firm
• Responsible for MSOFFICE template creation
• Identify and respond to the Firm’s training needs and initiate training accordingly
• Develop and maintain training curricula and associated materials
• Coordinate scheduling of training sessions, maintain training records, and prepare computer tips
• Assist with difficult or problematic documents and application files
• All other duties deemed necessary by Firm Management
• Provides supplemental Help Desk/IT computer support and on-call assistance when needed
• May be required to move/setup computers and monitors (up to 20lbs)
• Periodic travel to New Orleans and Monroe office required
• Reports to Director of Information Technology
