Windows Server Administration Job Description: Team’s primary function is Network management and monitoring for over 15,000 devices in enterprise network of over 400 locations. The team has a proprietary system called VNOC for network monitoring that is written primarily in Perl/PHP. Environment also includes Cisco ACS, Cisco Prime, NetQoS. MySQL database is used for hosting and the tools run on Windows Servers (2003/2008). The team is strong in networking but they have a skill gap in programming (PHP/Perl) to be able to make much needed enhancements in the tools.
