Detailed reqt:
We are looking for two (2) IT Software Quality Assurance Testers: for a year-long contract engagement with a WA State government agency.
The contractor must have expertise in IT software testing methodology. The SQA Tester will manage the test discipline, create test plans and test scripts and executes test cases. Also, contributes to ad hoc testing, provides issue tracking reports, status reports to management, customers, and IT staff. Provides test automation processes and procedures to test software applications that are a variety of application systems including: vendor provided (and cloud hosted) configured solutions, as well as internal .Net applications (web-based).
A suitable candidate will have: :

• Expert knowledge and experience in software Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of the current trends and latest advancements in software quality assurance.
• Expert level of experience in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform manual and automated testing to identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical resources on the project.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
• Ability to review and understand technical requirements documents and prepare test cases from those documents.
• Strong understanding of software usability principles and practices.
• Ability to write formal Test Plans.

Preferred Software Quality Assurance/Tester candidates will have: :

• Knowledge and working experience in software development.
• Knowledge and skills in SQL and scripting.
• Knowledge and working experience in data integration development.
• Knowledge and ability to run automated test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of financial concepts.
