Software Quality Assurance Supervisor supervises the daily operations of a software quality assurance team. Assigns testing tasks to team members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The QA Supervisor will coordinate/lead projects as required and is a
focal point on the E-OMS contract for ensuring Air Force, OSHA, E-OMS, and other applicable regulations are being adhered to. Incumbent will directly supervise QA Specialists, Facility manager, and TMDE Program Coordinator.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is highly desirable. Must have a minimum of five years’ experience administering QA programs. Must have effective verbal communication skills and superior writing skills, and must be highly proficient at Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications. Previous experience leading teams and conducting QA (or similar) inspections is required. Must possess significant experience/knowledge of Air Force directives, OSHA, NFPA, etc.
GENERAL DUTIES: Duties include performing quality assurance inspections of facilities/sites (to include geographically separated sites), review/approve maintenance procedures and operating instructions. Will investigate COR inspection findings and advise site supervisors/managers to ensure issues are resolved. Will ensure tracking of COR and QA findings (trend tracking). Ensures preparation of statistical data, graphics, and brief notes for award fee and inspection results presentations. Assists with Technical Order Distribution requirements and the improvement program. Will also provide assistance to Safety, Environmental & Occupational Health Specialists as needed.
OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties may be assigned to support contract/mission support requirements in job-related areas.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Secret security clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Supports E-OMS operational objectives. Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies; supports Process Improvement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Performs related duties as assigned in both a field and office environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires standing, sitting, bending and very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials.
