JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This position is responsible for verifying the implementation and adequacy of the QA program through the daily execution of the independent audit, quality control (QC) inspection, and receipt inspection activities at Palisades Nuclear plant.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
B.S. Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
6 years of nuclear power plant experience. 1 year experience in quality assurance or in implementation of the QA program at an operating nuclear plant (See ANSI/ANS - 3.1 1978). Extensive knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and experience. Excellent communication skills are required.

Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality / QAPM requirements. Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft desktop applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments. General understanding of nuclear power operations. Strong leadership/supervisory skills.
