Software Quality Assurance Supervisor supervises the daily operations of a software quality assurance team. Assigns testing tasks to team members. Being a Software Quality Assurance Supervisor trains team on tools and methodologies to ensure that software tests identify defects and comply with quality standards. Evaluates test results against expected results and recommends improvements to test plans and scripts as needed. Additionally, Software Quality Assurance Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Reports to a manager. The Software Quality Assurance Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Software Quality Assurance Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What you'll need...As a Software Quality Engineer, you must be self-motivated and dedicated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to easily adapt to changing situations. You must also have strong technical, programming and team leadership skills as well as solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important for you to have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels of expertise.Specific qualifications for this Software Development position include:- BSCS, BSCE, Information Systems degree or equivalent
Required Experience with the following:- 2 years of writing and executing test plans
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent client follow-through skills
- Flexibility to travel around the country, via air, 10% of the time
Experience with the following is a plus:- C# (.NET Core)
- MS SQL Server Database
- Angular UI
- Azure DevOps
