Software Quality Assurance Director directs and oversees the implementation of policies and procedures for the software quality assurance function. Perform appropriate chemical process, shot-peen, paint and identification inspection of machined aerospace parts to insure compliance per applicable spec and procedures. Determine and utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments to complete final inspection of special processes on machined aerospace parts, including etch prior to penetrant, penetrant, anodize, shot-peen, primer and paint applications. Initiate nonconformance records and process parts not meeting requirements. Continually strive to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by identifying and supporting implementation of process improvements. Perform any other incidental duties as may be required.
