The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall quality and production output within the region, ensuring that our products exceed customer expectations and uphold our brand's reputation.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-Quality Assurance: Develop and implement rigorous quality assurance protocols, ensuring that all products meet or exceed Skechers' quality standard.Performance Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve factory performance, focusing on efficiency and execution without compromising on quality.Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team capable of achieving excellence in quality and production.Reporting and Analysis: Provide comprehensive reports on quality and production metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive improvements.Leadership and Communication: Offer strong leadership to the Skechers factory base, ensuring your team is motivated and successful in meeting our quality standards and delivery timelines.  Setting clear goals and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.Cross-Regional Coordination: Maintain clear and thorough communication with teams in Asia and the USA regarding ongoing issues, partnering with factories to clearly convey Skechers' expectations while upholding manufacturing standards.Decision Making: Make impactful decisions on a daily and long-term basis within the defined scope of production and quality.Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure best practices and SOPs, as directed by the corporate office, are consistently followed, and implemented throughout the region, ensuring all Skechers factories adhere to the same guidelines.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within Skechers to evaluate team effectiveness. Collaborate on creating and initiating new protocols/processes that enhance team efficiency and product quality.Technical Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of constructions, with the ability to identify potential problems and devise solutions.Supplier Partnership: Work closely with suppliers and factory partners to foster strong relationships and ensure they meet Skechers' standards for quality and ethical practices.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-Include any responsibilities that may occur occasionally.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES-Overseeing a dedicated team, providing leadership, guidance, and direction to ensure team members are effectively performing their roles.Responsible for setting clear objectives, monitoring team performance, and ensuring high-quality products.QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS-Possesses a solid foundation in all aspects of footwear manufacturing and related processes to footwear production (footwear development is a plus).Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.Ability to effectively prioritize workload.Strong business, leadership, planning and organizing skills; including the ability to provide innovative, strategic ideas to management, communicate value, gain approval, and implement effectively.Exceptional ability to work independently and efficiently with various departments in multi-layer, globally disbursed function.Able to mentor and grow talent, including delivering effective performance management messages to subordinates.Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills required.Ability to participate as a team member as well as leader in a fast paced, hands on, global team-oriented environment.Use sound judgment in decision making with results driven orientation.Strong project management with confident communication skills.Possesses a sense of responsibility and ownership.JOB QUALIFICATIONS-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
