OVERVIEW: Reporting directly to the Vice President of PBM Technology, we are looking for a passionate, innovative, mission-based leader to head an adjudication team that supports all aspects of our core adjudication platform along with managing Client Intent capabilities, Consumer Driven Health and other key areas directly related to supporting our core Adjudication platform.

Working closely with Business, Operations, and Technology partners (Cigna and Evernorth), along with leveraging technology and a transformational skillset, this leader will provide strategic and technical leadership for delivering business capabilities while driving thought leadership and innovation with business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leverage a deep understanding of the PBM landscape, our enterprise strategy, and emerging technologies to partner closely with the business to optimize current PBM solutions.

• Build and cultivate key relationships across the enterprise to align and drive expected results.

• Create & deliver new solutions by helping partners to see the art-of-the-possible and influencing the change needed to execute and deliver successfully.

• Responsible to establish, maintain and implement a technology vision and strategy aligned with a strategic roadmap and its priorities.

• The PBM leader will not only be critical to delivering on an aggressive portfolio and strategic roadmap, but also be key in helping build out an expansion plan to transform the current technology systems to demonstrate the ability to provide innovative solutions that will be instrumental in growing our EVERNORTH business.

• Ability to influence transformation change across a large scale organization based on a deep understanding of latest technology trends.

• Experienced with industry standard programming languages, operating systems, application development frameworks, monitoring tools, and CI/CT/CD tools.

• Deep understanding of non-functional requirements and their importance to solution design.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Work experience as an engineering leader in a senior level position.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum 15 years in technology leadership with significant healthcare experience.

• Demonstrated success with delivering data/software using modern, cloud-based technologies.

• Visionary, innovative, and strategic thought leader with transformational experience who can align and inspire teams to execute successfully.

• Successful P/L leadership.

• Proven ability to deliver strategic initiatives.

• Experience in a wide variety of information technology disciplines.

• Prioritize investment decisions relative to future strategy while effectively managing cost in the near term.

• Ability to leverage deep understanding of the healthcare landscape to drive strategic outcomes inclusive of building new capabilities and recommending partnerships, M/A, etc.

• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts in non-technical terms to influence stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
