    About this role:

    The Brand Advocate & Partner Manager, with a passion for the startup and small business ecosystem, expands LivePlan's reach and influence through strategic partnerships, influencer marketing, and PR. Bringing strong financial analysis skills and SaaS industry familiarity, this dynamic role promotes the platform, engages small business communities, and represents the brand across media - embodying a true brand advocate.

    This is a full-time, permanent, exempt position reporting to the Director of Marketing. The starting pay may range from $85,000 to $100,000 per year depending on experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Partnerships & Influencer Marketing:

    • Design and execute outreach marketing plans aligned with LivePlan's objectives.
    • Build, grow, and manage an extensive community of LivePlan influencers and affiliates, ensuring on-brand LivePlan marketing that produces a sustainable influx of new sign-ups and revenue.
    • Develop compelling partnership propositions and manage contract negotiations.

    Video, Social & Community Engagement:

    • Representing the LivePlan brand in video content and other media engagements.
    • Develop strategies for content and engagement on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
    • Participate in small business forums and entrepreneurial communities to provide value, build connections, and promote LivePlan as a resource.

    PR & Brand Visibility:

    • Create and distribute PR materials, including press releases, media kits, and pitch documents to secure earned media opportunities.
    • Manage media relations to build connections with reporters, bloggers, publishers, and other outlets.
       
    • Ensure LivePlan is consistently featured in relevant roundups, reviews, and editorial articles through proactive pitching.
    • Collaborate with the content team to amplify and maximize the reach of existing content.

    • Increased number and quality of active partnerships with affiliates, creators, and influencers leading to measurable growth in brand reach and significant revenue growth.

    • Increased awareness and adoption of LivePlan among target audiences, leading to higher user engagement and satisfaction. 
    • Demonstrable growth in platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.

    • Increased media mentions, positive PR outcomes, and a growing referral network contributing to brand growth and recognition.

    • Active participation and positive feedback from small business and entrepreneur communities, leading to stronger brand loyalty and trust.

    What you bring to the job: 

    • Enthusiasm for supporting the startup, small business, and entrepreneur ecosystem, with insights into the SaaS industry players and government small business programs.
    • Familiarity with business financials, including financial statement analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Engaging presence, adept at captivating audiences both in-person and during on-air appearances.
    • Proven experience in producing or featuring in video content and/or webinars preferred
    • Proficient in PR strategies, coupled with a background in marketing preferred
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
    • Driven and self-directed, with a knack for proactive problem-solving.
    • Collaborative mindset, skilled at working seamlessly with diverse teams.
    • Thirst for continuous learning: You take the initiative to gain the preferred skills you don’t already have and stay current with evolving Marketing technology and techniques

    Relevant education and experience: The following contributes to success in this role, but isn’t required if you have demonstrated abilities to be successful in this kind of work.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
    • Significant experience in partner outreach, PR, or a similar role.
    • Experience in content creation or marketing on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and podcasts.
