WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Assure an accurate soft count by counting and recording information in accordance with gaming regulations and/or casino policies.
• Assure accurate report of slot drop by keying information into the computer, balancing, and reporting information by computer entries to Finance Department.
• Maintain and assure the proper routing of the department’s paperwork.
• Maintain the safekeeping of the carts and the contents of the pit drop boxes.
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
• Heavy, repetitive lifting (up to 50lbs)

• Strong problem solving, mediation, and consulting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of applicable Colorado State Gaming License.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office - Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with team member relations issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Prior experience in cash handling.
• 10-key calculator skills.
• Speed and accuracy in handling money and record keeping.
• MUST be able to obtain/maintain Colorado Support Gaming license :  https://sbg.colorado.gov/gaming-support-license
