    PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Supervising and providing training for Casino Services Desk employees, coaching on best practices and procedures.
    • Assists in creating and implementing policies and standard operating procedures related to Casino Services Desk employees.
    • Creating and administering employee performance evaluations for Casino Services Desk employees.
    • Provide support with assigned reports and knowledge of departmental performance systems and tools.
    • Oversees that the pre-shift topics are updated and sent to the Casino departments monthly, and they are completed and signed by each shift.
    • Ensures that the discipline track for monthly pre-shift topics is followed.
    • Attends interdepartmental and departmental meetings.
    • Communicates and coordinates with all levels of management / departments.
    • Has knowledge of and enforces BSA / AML policies and procedures.
    • Engages with BSA / AML Compliance department related to CTR training and ensures applicable personnel pass necessary testing or qualify for retesting.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by Casino Management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. Must possess the strong leadership and problem-solving skills needed to control the operation of a gaming establishment.

    Licenses : Must obtain and maintain a Key Employee License from the Bureau of Gambling Control.

    Work Experience : Five (5) plus years of prior experience in the casino industry.

    Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Must demonstrate an ability to work independently and to prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures and regulations related to the employee’s duties.

    A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.

    SCHEDULED HOURS

    Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
