Responsibilities:
The right candidate will be responsible for supervising a process production team. This individual must maintain excellent quality, sanitation, safety and production standards for the shift’s operation.
Communicate with team members from Sales and Operations to ensure product orders are being delivered on time and effectively.
Make certain that sufficient supplies and resources are available to meet the production standards. Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards. Manage this team of employees by keeping them accountable for results to obtain certain goals and objectives. Adherence to GMP, Safety, and all other plant policies.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, flexible individuals who enjoy challenging and diverse job responsibilities.
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED and 3 years experience in a food or beverage production plant in a supervisory role.
- BS. / BA, Degree preferred not required.
- 3 years or more experience supervising employees directly in a food production or beverage production environment.
- Strong preference to individuals who have worked in a refrigerated or climate-controlled environment and is monitored by the FDA.
- Ability to motivate and train people and monitor the safety & quality of the products produced and the safety of the employees managed.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish is a strong plus)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
