Job Summary:
St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home located in Monongah WV is a small, 57 bed, independent skilled nursing facility serving the area continuously since 1961. At this time, we have an opening in our nursing department for a Director of Nursing. As the Director of Nursing, it would be your responsibility to oversee our facility's nursing department, as well as being responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of nursing care within the facility. This includes ensuring compliance with regulations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing leadership to the nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Register Nurse
- Current RN license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and healthcare practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
