We are currently seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist. This position would be based out of our Parsippany, NJ office.

Seeking a full-time Social Media Marketing Specialist to support marketing efforts for Western Pest Services, Waltham Pest Services, OPC Pest Services, Western Fumigation and IFC Pest Control Brands. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing director and other marketing team members to create engaging content for social channels. Keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused and seeking out new media and ways of connecting our brands with our audiences as well as keeping a close eye on engagement making comments and posts are responded to in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate with others while still being self-motivated, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be an independent thinker, and be detail-oriented. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proven work experience in Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms creating channel specific content
• Development of monthly content calendars
• Previous experience managing social media ad campaigns, ad creative, and analytics
• Ability to think ahead, stay on top of trends, and be creative and energized by social platforms
• Strong understanding of social media strategies and platforms
• Ability to analyze and report on data and metrics; utilize data and trends to make impactful changes to overall social strategy
• Ability to be a critical thinker, take direction and absorb information quickly as well as multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar programs
• Partner with and manage social media agency
• Support the planning and execution of photo & video shoot needs
• Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content
• Research audience preferences, discover new trends and stay current with platform offerings
• Lead social media management of brand activations, events, community management, day to day engagement and messaging
• Develop innovative social media campaigns in an effort to increase engagement and grow audience
• PR experience a plus
• Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms and accounts
• Excellent copywriter, with the skill to adjust tone and structure based on brand and platform
• Preferred experience supporting multiple social pages on different platforms
• Ad hoc projects/tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the confidence to communicate complex ideas

• Previous agency experience preferred

• Strategic and creative thinker who can build awareness, engage with audiences, and encourage audience response

• Excellent understanding of and experience with social media platforms

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently as well as with groups (both internal and external)

• Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines and on multiple projects simultaneously

• Consistent interfacing with branch offices to support local events

• Familiarity with the following programs a plus: Google Analytics, HubSpot, Campaign Manager

• We require successful completion of background check and drug screen
• Must be 18 years of age

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
