Social Media Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms to grow an audience and build brand awareness. Designs and drives high-quality social media content and campaigns that consistently align with established strategies and branding. Being a Social Media Communications Specialist conducts market research to identify social media best practices, trends, and insights. Builds and executes a social media strategy through competitor research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. Additionally, Social Media Communications Specialist tracks and analyzes metrics to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Social Media Communications Specialist work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Resource Family Services (RFS) Specialist assists families in navigating the process to become a foster or adoptive resource to children in the custody of the Department of Social Services. In this position, you will provide training and complete home study assessments for prospective foster and adoptive families. You will be a valuable member of the LSS Resource Family Services Team and work collaboratively with the South Dakota Department of Social Services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in social work or in a related field, plus one to two years of related experience. Licensed as a Social Worker or Social Work Associate (or the ability to be licensed) through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
