This position is responsible for coordinating the internal communications that occur within an organization and establishing and implementing a social media strategy for the organization and clients.

    The responsibilities of this role may include:

    • Prepares and maintains a strategic communication plan for the organization designed to promote the organization, inclusivity, and services
    • Devises, designs, and edits communication for items such as marketing and tradeshow brochures, emails, fundraisers, contests, newsletters, and other internal and external publications
    • Writes, copyedits, proofreads, and revises communications content as necessary
    • Recommends what information should be presented to employees, and times the release of information to coordinate with company events or initiatives
    • Supports ideas with research and experience
    • Maintains and updates company websites
    • Publishes videos and photography on company websites and other marketing means
    • Keeps employees engaged in company initiatives
    • Creates and publishes quality social media content to achieve targeted customer engagement and increases traffic
    • Acts as the voice of an organization to build a distinct company brand and ensures that the brand remains consistent across all social media platforms, internal communications and external platforms
    • Tracks and analyzes social metrics to improve the social media strategy and gain insight into audience demographics and effectiveness of social media campaigns
    • Replies to customer inquiries and assists with resolving customer complaints and negative reviews posted to social media
    • Performs all other duties as assigned

    To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma/Equivalent; an Associates degree in Communication or related field is preferred. Additionally, at least 3 years of Communications and Social Media experience is required.
