Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Social Media Content Creators work closely with the Social Media Strategist and the Social Media Student Worker team in the Marketing and Communications Office to help generate video content for the college's social media channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Filming on a smart phone and editing video content is the main duty of this job. This position involves attending St. Olaf events and being out and about on campus to gather and create content. This position also requires the ability to work within a team to brainstorm and create content together.

Students applying for this position should consider themselves an early adopter of social media. They must know and use a variety of social media channels — particularly Instagram and Tik Tok. They must be able to create video content (filming and editing).
