SCOPE OF POSITION The Designer/Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Marketing Director. This position will assist in the execution and input of the marketing plan in line with the company’s strategy. The successful candidate will have marketing and branding experience, stellar execution skills, and social media experience and knowledge to deliver unique and valuable insights that inspire and create lasting partnerships with both our internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Social Media planning, creating, and executing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) including ads and videos
• Plan, shoot, and direct marketing and product videos
• Design and develop marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, trade show backdrops, etc., to comply with the brand guidelines.
• Handle all promotional giveaways including inventory and shipping
• Ability to write and/or edit blog articles
• Create actionable PPC landing pages
• Work on assigned project deliverables and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data, and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficiency of marketing programs.
• Some travel is required, to one of our seven locations. WA, TX, CO, OR, CA, UT or GA.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related area of study
• 2 years of marketing experience
• Experience assisting with the planning, coordinating, and executing of marketing initiatives
• The successful candidate will have experience in creating and implementing new approaches to marketing strategy and will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in solving problems, as well as comfort in managing ambiguity
• The candidate will have a preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment; a track record working effectively with cross-functional teams and prioritizing short- and longer-term strategic initiatives
• The candidate will show a passion for digging in deep to identify specific needs and solutions
• Additional requirements include outstanding communication, oral and written, teamwork and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere). WordPress experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Sprout Social is a bonus
