    Position Summary

    As a member of team Versiti, you will become an important part of our mission: to help save lives in the communities we serve. Under the direction of the Manager Digital Marketing, the Analyst Social Media will create, adapt, manage and maintain Versiti's social media channels including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Executing digital strategies outlined by the Digital Marketing Manager, you will work to amplify Versiti brand and value proposition, motivate and inspire target audiences, and support efforts to meet Versiti's strategic growth objectives to acquire, deepen and retain relationships with our target audiences.

    Responsibilities

    • MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * With guidance from the Manager Corporate Digital Marketing, and in partnership with internal stakeholders, execute digital media strategies and tactics to ensure organizational goals are met. * Manage all social media initiatives in multiple disciplines and departments from conception to publication to ensure successful execution. * Collaborate with content and design teams to create compelling content that builds relationships and motivates target audiences to take action. * Maintain a content calendar in coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager, Content Marketing Specialists and other relevant stakeholders; schedule all posts; and ensure content is deployed on time. * Supplement pre-planned editorial calendar as needed with on-the-spot content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and more. * Monitor platforms to stay on top of important trends and conversations related to our organization. * Partner with Versiti customer service teams to monitor, engage and escalate comments, replies, and direct messages with our supporters and donors. * Develop relationships with influencers and other allies, online and off, who can help amplify our message. * Report on successful and unsuccessful content, and make recommendations for social campaigns. * Interview, photograph, and record our staff, donors and supporters as needed. * Work occasional weekend or evening hours in order to cover or attend special events and team meetings. Some travel may be required. * Analyze performance and impact of all social media efforts using various data tools to develop insights that optimize future campaign strategies. * Maintain appropriate dashboards and report on analytics and results, leverage insights and learnings to recommend continuous improvements of campaigns and social processes. * Conduct rolling audits of social media channels (Versiti owned/managed and industry competitors), to evaluate the gaps and opportunities for the organization; make recommendations for improvements; ensure information is accurate and up-to-date; and confirm users are current, and found instances are approved or resolved. * Attend and/or schedule regularly scheduled meetings with all stakeholders to ensure ongoing improvements and content calendars for all digital environments.
    • GENERAL DUTIES * Active participation in the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives in support of Versiti’s vision and mission. * Offer recommendations for the development and improvement of social media processes and procedures. * Interact with and maintains good working relationships with Versiti cross-functional teams, staff, and suppliers. * Support and demonstrate customer service commitment to internal and external customers guided by Versiti’s vision, mission and values. * Research industry best practices and keep informed of market trends. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide equal support to stakeholders to engage community during times of critical need. * Ability to travel to other Versiti locations as needed. * Ability to provide coverage on social media channels, and serve as social media point of contact during customer service hours. * Ability to perform in a professional manner that reflects and reinforces Versiti’s core values. * Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in digital marketing or related degree required

    Experience

    • 1-3 years experience maintaining social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) for an organization, especially producing dynamic content, growing followers quickly, and building out social media engagement tactics required
    • Experience creating (writing and designing) and executing a diverse range of interactive and engaging content for social media through platforms like Adobe Spark, Boomerang, etc required
    • Experience using social media scheduling platforms like Hootsuite, Falcon IO, Sprout Social, etc required
    • Graphic design, video editing and Google Analytics experience preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Demonstration of expertise managing and maintaining social media platforms and analytics for an organization. required
    • Demonstration of a passion for social media; an ongoing thirst for knowledge and an appetite to learn, constantly seeking out information and understanding of the latest digital trends, tools, and best practices; and, a willingness to continuously share knowledge and recommendations with internal stakeholders. required
    • Storytelling skills - not just how to craft the perfect post, but also how to tell the right story on each social channel and mix the informative with the emotional in a way that engages audiences and cuts through the noise. required
    • Ability to write and edit content to our brand voice and in accordance with spelling and grammatical best practices. required
    • Ability to interpret and communicate information and ideas concisely, clearly, accurately and persuasively to a variety of strategic audiences. required
    • Working knowledge of image editing software like Photoshop, Canva, etc. required
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple projects in a face paced and changing environment. required
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, but also be able to take initiative and work autonomously as needed. required
    • Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently. required
