Job Description:

Chic Consignment is looking for an E-Commerce & Social Media Associate that will assist in completing the everyday tasks of the media team. These associates will work closely with the social media manager in an effort to create content for the Chic website and social media. This position is part-time (20-30 hrs) and is to be done on-site in Andover, MA.

Please note this is not a managerial role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Photo clothing items
• Measure clothing items
• Navigate Dropbox
• Required to work 1-2 weekend shifts (mostly Saturday) per month
• Film videos for Instagram/Facebook/TikTok
• Create captions and hashtags for social media posts
• Brainstorm ideas for social media content
• Respond to social media messages regarding website/video items
• Package items from e-commerce sales
• Assist on the sales floor as needed
• Assist with opening and closing procedures

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with photography is a plus
• Ability to learn new software applications and online tools
• Retail company/brand/fashion experience a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Social Media: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fashion retail: 1 year (Preferred)
