Merit Street Media is searching for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing Digital Platforms team. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations of multiple social platforms. This responsibility includes media handling, copywriting, proofreading, uploading assets (reels, stories, etc.), developing platform specific strategies, building community engagement and more. This position will report directly to the Social Media Team Lead.
The ideal candidate has a digital-first approach to the production and distribution of video content, is incredibly detail-oriented, and can with ease navigate the backend of Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, etc. An affinity or familiarity with Dr. Phil, Current Events/News and Political Commentary content is a plus.
