Position
Visit Spokane is hiring a Social Media & Content Manager. This role will be responsible for building and integrating social-first content strategies across Visit Spokane’s marketing platforms used to promote Spokane as a must-see destination for visitors. The strategies should drive follower growth, engagement, and conversion metrics for optimization. This position will be responsible for collaborating with multiple key stakeholders for Leisure, Convention Sales and Services, and Partner Services to deliver a consistent plan across Visit Spokane’s outbound marketing and advertising channels. Success will require a strong knowledge of social media best practices, ideating best-in-class storytelling, and possessing a strong grasp of the competitive landscape in Destination Marketing. This role requires demonstrating creativity in strategizing and ideating social-first content in a dynamic way.
Job Responsibilities:
The Social Media and Content Manager role will look for opportunities and creative ways to promote Spokane as a destination for convention and leisure travelers. The role is responsible to drive the social media strategy, assist with departmental operations, and manage partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize content distribution and engagement, and to ensure consistency in storytelling across all platforms.
Visit Spokane is currently a hybrid office, a mix of in-office days and work from home days.
