SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. - Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Slot Tech Manager.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Walking, sitting or standing in and around the casino slot floor for long periods at a time.
- Ability to multitask and work on long term projects.
- Frequently lifting, carrying and calibrating equipment.
- Occasionally moving, bending and stooping during machine moves up to 250 lbs.
Working conditions:
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
- Hazards include cigarette smoke, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
