SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks in a bench technician role.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs.
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with field service technicians to provide support and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bench technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in equipment repair.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience in low voltage systems is desirable.
