SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Repair, maintain, and monitor the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Participate in the move of any slot-related equipment. Monitor the performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions of the casino slot areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and identified for repair as necessary. Responsible for assisting guests and answering questions regarding the use of Resort Club cards, machine payouts, promotions, events, and the location of amenities and machines. Stocks machines with tickets and conducts transactions for jackpots.
