SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of electronics and AC-DC theory
Ability to read schematics
Public relations and oral communication skills
Ability to trouble-shoot with meters and test equipment
Knowledge of computers a plus
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
College degree in electronics preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous technical experience
