Slot Shift Manager manages the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager confirms that all slot department equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Slot Shift Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The Slot Shift Supervisor provides excellent customer service while maintaining clean and functional gaming areas. They supervise the Slot Staff and ensure all policies and procedures are followed in both in the Slot Cage and on the casino floor. They are responsible for verifying large currency transactions, processing, and paying out jackpots and maintaining the required paperwork to be in compliance with our Internal Controls. They also investigate lost and found tickets, handle customer disputes and perform all opening and closing procedures in both the Slot Cage and Sportsbook areas.
Slot Supervisors are also able to perform all duties of a Slot Cashier and Attendant when and if necessary.
