Slot Shift Manager Assistant jobs in Suffolk, VA
Slot Shift Manager Assistant assists the manager with gaming activities in the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager Assistant confirms all slot equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager Assistant ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Position shares the 24/7 responsibility to assist the manager for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises patient care services staff to ensure patient safety, provides high quality outcomes and an exceptional patient/family experience; assists manager in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinates the purchasing and payroll processes; serves as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performs work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Assists manager with interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining staff members with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. May coordinate and/or assist with staff education, orientation and precepting of members of the team. Utilizes effective communication/ interpersonal skills and is able to adapt leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.- Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
- Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
- Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina
- RN-Bachelor's Level Degree
