Slot Shift Manager Assistant assists the manager with gaming activities in the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager Assistant confirms all slot equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager Assistant ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Purpose of Position:
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain slot machines. Ensure that all Slot Machines are up and running during course of the shift.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all EGM cabinets (cleaning/vacuuming, calibrating touch sensors, checking button functionality, inspecting aesthetic appearance, etc).
• Clear acceptor and printer jams.
• Navigate game menus to access gameplay histories, and read pay tables.
• Maintain an understanding of job responsibilities and department policy and procedures.
• Assist in loading, unloading, moving, breaking down and setting up slot machines as required.
• Change basic machine parts as necessary (buttons, printers, validators, monitors).
• Respond to Kai service calls in a timely, efficient manner.
• Communicate issues to Lead Technicians and Supervisors as necessary.
• Communicate with Bench Technicians of any inventory needs in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by the Director of Human Resources.
• Electronics equipment experience preferred.
• Experience working with slot machines and equipment preferred.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
