Summary:

The Marketing Manager is a role that is responsible for directing and executing marketing (both digital and traditional) strategies in line with the brand guidelines and aesthetic direction of the Creative Director.  This includes the strategic direction and support of other marketing staff and vendors.

Job Functions:

• Create and develop buyer personas to better segment our customer base so that we can target those people more effectively.
• Use these segments to better understand our customers and optimize new customer acquisition.
• Actively pursue strategies to elevate UX in order to drive conversions and reduce customer friction.
• Direct vendor strategy as it relates to marketing funnel and customer segmentation.
• Direct in-house marketing team as needed. 
• Provide graphic design support as needed for on-the-fly social media assets.
• Develop and curate communities to better retain and serve existing customers.
• Liaise with Customer Support in order to direct digital efforts and Community Manager(s) in preemptive escalation abatement.
• Create and develop community feedback mechanisms to be deployed digitally.
• Develop a network of influencers and community “top contributors” to generate UGC.
• Be the main point of contact for website design, development, and updates.
• Liaison with Creative Director and Impact Media for digital marketing needs such as email marketing, ad management, and creative content generation (video, graphic design, etc)
• Be the main point of contact for any traditional marketing vendors such as radio, print, etc.
• Be point of contact for/consult on marketing requests from Visitor Center management.
• Ensure marketing aesthetic continuity between online and in-person retail.

Requirements and Skills

• Three (3) years of management experience
• Proven track record in marketing management and ability to demonstrate impact
• Business and Customer Service acumen 
• Strong analytical and skills problem solving skills
• Computer proficiency to analyze sales data in Excel, write reports, email correspondence.

Compensation

• $50,000 - $58,000 / Salary offer depending on experience

Location: Milton, WV

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Flex schedule, some weekends required)
