Working in collaboration with the Accounts team, an effective Account Manager (AM) is a strategic thinker who works with the agency team to develop innovative and impactful strategies to ensure client's business goals and objectives are met. The AM role is responsible for making sure that project timelines, quality, and scopes are consistently met, while providing a seamless and positive client experience. Self-sufficiency, a loyal team mindset, and a can-do attitude are some essential traits for an AM.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Strategic client and project management, proactive problem resolution, client relationship development, strategic project management and internal account management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Act as the primary point of contact for Jackson clients to develop and effectively communicate brand strategy, progression of deliverables, and account performance reports.

Create and manage workflows, budgets, and timelines that ensure project deadlines and expectations are met.

Maintain productive interactions with support departments (i.e., answer questions/provide direction) keeping projects streamlined, on brand, and on schedule.

Nurture strong client relationships built on trust and substance - proactively seeking opportunities to align Jackson's strengths with the client's needs.

Provide recommendations and strategic support to both internal teams and designated client counterparts.

Act as a final checkpoint for all outgoing creative, guaranteeing all deliverables are of highest quality, and that final projects align with brand standards and project scope

Work with Jackson's production team to facilitate the development and delivery of print and traditional marketing assets, as well as periodically planning and executing on-site photography and videography shoots.

Develop a knowledge of the various brands under your management, understanding their unique brand positioning, communication and creative standards-, short- and long-term goals, and preferred methods of communication.

Manage projects within Microsoft Office, Hightail, Advantage, Dropbox and various Project Management platforms
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Required:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, events, journalism, or related field, and/or commiserate experience

Prior experience managing creative content, digital projects, and event projects

The ability to set and maintain budgets for multi-channel strategies

Excellent, pro-active interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong writing and editing skills and a general knowledge of marketing language.

Desire to expand knowledge and capabilities, not only relating to Account Management, but also regarding industry trends, creative processes, and strategic thinking.
