The Slot Marketing Representative is responsible for providing consistent, courteous service to Guests while promoting GLC Rewards cards and marketing/promotional events. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Contributes to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that provides guests with entertaining, fun, dynamic, unsurpassed service.
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the property as well as all marketing, promotional and special event initiatives.
• Responsible for enrolling guests into the property’s GLC Rewards program while maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
• Respond to guests’ requests, complaints, and/or inquiries while being courteous and prompt.
• Be involved in special events/promotions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
• One plus years of experience in customer service preferred.
• Must have the ability to efficiently and accurately key in data into the database.
• Be able to accurately work and/or manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At a minimum, must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming work card for the jurisdiction in which the property is located.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift.
• Manual dexterity to use job-related equipment.
• Ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Ability to hear and communicate by telephone and radio.
• Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
• Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area that may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned areas. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
