DESCRIPTION: The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing guest service on the slot gaming floor and pays out jackpots. The employee is responsible for maintaining all slot machines at all locations.
DUTIES:
· Provides high level of guest service.
· Completes and corrects minor slot machine malfunctions such as and not limited to: Bill acceptor jams, paper jams, paper outs, open doors, etc.
· Processes and pays out jackpots.
· Assures that all areas are operating properly.
· Makes change for customers.
· Assists in resolving customer complaints/disputes with conflict resolution.
· Always uses proper skills i.e.: respect, patience attentiveness, etc. when dealing with guests.
· Able to multitask efficiently in a high paced environment.
· Helps to maintain cleanliness of the gaming floor.
· Communicate and interact with all customers in a professional manner.
· Effectively works and communicates with other departments to resolve problems and expedite work or services.
· Interprets, communicates, and enforces work procedures and company policies.
· Ensures compliance with all MICS, procedure, policies of the slot department and all other departments slot attendants interacts with.
· Supports casino management team in development of customer business by being involved in brainstorming, suggesting ideas, and solutions and providing ongoing feedback.
· Practice, and maintain confidentiality, at-all-times.
· Works effectively with all casino personnel.
· Attends all mandatory trainings.
· All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Computer literacy is a must.
· Attendance at all trainings and opportunities offered such as CPR/First Aid, MICS, etc. is mandatory.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
· Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
· Must be able to pass a background investigation.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
· Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
· Must be able to work in a secondhand smoke environment
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
· Must be able to be mobile throughout the casino for duration of shift.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
