Pay Range: $13.00 plus tips

This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service to guests who are playing slot machines by running change, answering questions, explaining games and resolving issues by personally performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Interacts with guests, answering their questions, explaining games and running change.
• Provides a higher standard of guest service by redeeming vouchers (slot tickets) using the MVR device and by breaking or exchanging bills from the currency pouch.
• Promptly performs jackpot payouts, verifying payouts and celebrating the guest's win.
• Maintains machines by quickly and efficiently resolving minor repairs and ticket fillings.
• Ensures that the slots area is clean and presentable by walking the area, removing cups and trash, pushing in chairs, checking service lights and keeping equipment clean.
• Accurately completes paperwork, including unclaimed and other jackpot logs, progressive logs, ticket slips and equipment logs.
• Works with all other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
• Ensures knowledge and execution of current promotions.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Skills/ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
