Slot Floor Person responds to customers reporting jackpots and determines if the jackpot is valid. May need to calculate jackpot amounts for jackpots not registering on the computer system. Being a Slot Floor Person prints jackpot tickets, obtains customer identification, and completes appropriate forms. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Additionally, Slot Floor Person may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Slot Floor Person may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service to guests who are playing slot machines by running change, answering questions, explaining games and resolving issues by personally performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
