Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the operations of our pool facility. The Pool Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. This is a leadership role that requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Duties:
- Manage daily operations of the pool facility, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise lifeguards, pool attendants, and other staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for pool operations
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate and oversee pool events, such as swim meets or pool parties
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities
- Prepare reports on pool operations, attendance, and revenue
- Assist with cash handling and financial management as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Manager or Pool Supervisor
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of pool safety regulations and lifeguarding practices
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
