Job Overview:
MelioREM Sleep Services is seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to lead administrative and non-clinical practice operations, oversee staff, and manage organization-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and experience managing a successful medical practice. We are looking for a manager who can work independently, is calm under pressure, leads with grace, and can manage a high performing team.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise all administrative staff, including medical receptionists, billing specialists, and medical records personnel
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring optimal utilization of provider schedules
- Coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and claims processing
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with providers to optimize utilization management and streamline patient care processes

-Run payroll
- Manage the office budget, including monitoring expenses and negotiating contracts with vendors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations
- Provide support to providers and staff as needed

Qualifications:
- 5 years relevant work experience

-2-3 years of management experience
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including scheduling, billing, and medical records management
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Athena experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Collaborative work style with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
