Job Summary: Responsible for the office operation and performance of the Center for Sleep Medicine. This includes comprehensive referral intake, obtaining insurance benefits/authorization, scheduling of in-lab and home sleep studies, physician and patient phone contact, and equipment dispersal and collection as well as other associated duties as listed below. Reports to the Manager of Sleep Services. Department: Sleep Center Location: Englewood, NJ Status:    Per Diem Shift:       Day Hours:     9a-5p Job Essentials: A minimum of 1-2 years of patient scheduling and insurance benefits/authorization related experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required Ability to read, write, type, proof, and edit non-routine correspondence, tables, forms, and the like for punctuation, spelling, grammar, and typographical errors as well as draft routine correspondence, perform noncomplex arithmetic calculations, and maintain record keeping and filing systems. Knowledge of various insurance information needed to complete accurate and timely pre-registrations. Proficient in Microsoft Office or any other applicable software. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all patients, medical center employees and physicians. Must exhibit a professional demeanor and cooperative team approach. Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy. Education Requirements: HS diploma or GED required. ***Flu Vaccination Requirement*** Englewood Health requires all newly hired team members to provide Influenza vaccine documentation.
