We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. You will work closely with physicians and other Nurse Practitioners and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
- Implement Value based medicine and quality metrics
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) Eclinical Works for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland,as well as, maintain active CDS and DEA certificates
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology)
- Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in performing value based medicine
- Knowledge of utilization management principles and practices
- Familiarity with laboratory testing and interpretation of results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
