Project Administrator – Electrical

The project administrator reports directly to the project manager to provide help with project-related administrative tasks and assist the project manager and foreman in obtaining any information or support needed for the timely and efficient completion of construction. They will be expected to be involved throughout the construction process, from bidding to project closeout.

Salary: $40,000-$65,000

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with project-related tasks including, but not limited to the following
  • Project Setup
    • Creating new project in Procore
    • Loading drawings and specifications
    • Managing job users and contacts
  • Managing RFIs
    • Includes updating RFI logs and reviewing new RFIs with PM to determine if the information pertains to our work
  • Document Management
    • Keeping drawings sets up to date
    • Tracking the status of submittals
    • Annotating drawings
    • Managing safety-related paperwork and forms
  • Panel Schedules
    • Make, print, and send out panel schedules as directed by PM
  • Material tracking
    • Track the status of package releases and ship dates and report them to the PM
  • Tracking potential change orders
    • Updating PCO log and reporting new changes to PM
    • Tracking the effect of PCO s on package releases
  • Tracking bulletins and other supplemental documents
    • Review with PMs to determine if information pertains to our work
  • Tracking time and material slips
    • Track all T&M documentation – both from subcontractors and field staff – and input into the T&M log. Review all updates with PM
  • Track project progress and benchmarks and make schedule and contract adjustments as needed
  • Complete and track new hiring paperwork and testing and ensure compliance with jobsite requirements

• Assist project foreman in ways such as
  • Providing information from the most up-to-date submittals
  • Requesting information from vendors to assist in on-site activities
  • Assist in completing required project-specific documentation
  • Assist with project safety documentation
  • Visiting active construction sites if needed

Preferred Skills

• Detailed oriented and have a willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and general technical ability and aptitude
• Experience with Procore or similar program
